The Guardian Belgian Triple is a bright golden ale dominated by an unique yeast strain we sourced from the Ardennes. With delicate notes of bubblegum, pepper and clove, this beer is not-so-innocent, given it sits at a strong 7.5% ABV.
Guardian pairs perfectly with any rich and fatty foods and with its restrained bitterness, it is a great beer to match with a creamy blue cheese. Try alongside its counterpart, our Morning Star Belgian Dark Ale.

Malts: Pale, Munich and rolled oats
Hops: Citra, Equanot, Centennial, Mosaic
Hops are the hero of this beer, with Mosiac, Equanot and Centennial supporting a lot of Citra hops, one of our favourites here at Brick Lane. We’ve used Citra in two ways here.First as a CO2 extract, a cold extracted essence packed with hard and soft resins and essential oils. The second way were Citra cyro hops. These hops were processed under 100°C to give us essentially purified lupulin.
All up, this beer launches with big bitterness, big flavours and aromas and unashamedly all about hops.
Layered caramel malts. Citrus and pine hop flavours.
That time of day when the sun has gone down, and the lights have come on, not dark, not light.
Red Hoppy Ale has a rich, red amber body driven through caramel malts layered in the brew, not dark, not light. A green hoppy bite and intense fruit flavours deliver layers of complexity, interest and a moreish finish.
