Baking with Beer: Draught Oat Cookies!
Beer is not only great paired with food but it's fantastic to bake with to! 
Try our twist on the classic oat cookie. Fun and easy to make, these bikkies have a not-so-secret ingredient... Brick Lane Draught!

Ingredients: 
1 1/4 cups plain flour 
1 cup rolled oats 
1/2 brown sugar 
3/4 cup desiccated coconut 
2 tbsp golden syrup 
2 tbsp Brick Lane Draught 
1/2 rsp Bicarbonate Soda 
 
Method: 
preheat oven at 170c
Sift flour into a large bowl, add sugar, oats and coconut
Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat, once melted add golden syrup and Brick Lane Draught 
Stir bicarbonate of soda into the liquid mixture
Add the liquid to dry ingredients and mix thoroughly
roll into balls and place on greased tray
pop in the oven for 15 mins or until golden
As biscuits bake enjoy the rest of your Brick Lane Draught 
*biscuits will harden as they cool
