A Trilogy Of Horror Movies

A Trilogy Of Horror Movies
With the spooky season upon us, I couldn't resist recommending a trio of horror movies and pairing them with our iconic Trilogy Of Fear range. Grab your favourite snacks, pop on a scary movie and crack a can of Trilogy!
Taken Imperial Stock Ale x Poltergeist
“They’re here…” Okay, this one feels a little obvious but how could I not pay homage to the iconic 1982 film directed by Tobe Hooper and Steven Speilberg? Poltergeist is one of the all-time classics when it comes to haunted house flicks and is the reason static TV’s are so damn creepy. If you’re looking for plenty of jump moments this one’s for you.

Reckoning Palo Santo Imperial Stout x Underwater
Our Reckoning can design is inspired by H.P Lovecraft’s Cthuhlu. Cthulhu doesn’t pop up in too many films but you can find them in the film Underwater starring Kristen Stewart. Underwater (as suggested in the name) is about a crew that ends up stuck over 9kms below the ocean surface. It’s an easy watch that is visually captivating.

Last Train Home Oud Imperial Stout x Train To Busan
It’s hard to miss the inspiration for Last Train Home when watching Train To Busan. This Korean horror is one of the best zombie apocalypse movies of all time. Train To Busan follows the story of passengers trapped on a speeding train during a zombie outbreak in South Korea. It’s frantic, action-packed and heartbreaking.

BONUS
Who would I be as a tragic beer lover if I didn’t throw in a bonus recommendation to watch Shaun Of The Dead? If you haven’t seen Shaun Of The Dead, first of all… what are you doing? Drop everything and watch it immediately! Second of all, you’re in for a bloody treat. Shawn Of The Dead is a mix of comedy and horror, it’s perfectly stupid and cleveryly balances scares with witty satire. Trust me, you won’t regret it.
Stream Shaun Of The Dead on Netflix, Foxtel or Binge
Happy haunting!
